Description

Arthritis and rheumatism disorders collectively include more than 200 conditions which cause painful inflammation and disruption of the body�s joints, muscles and connective tissues. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of joint disease and affects up to 80% of people over the age of 50. Three times as many women as men suffer from osteoarthritis.

Rheuma-Aid is a safe herbal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic formulation. It inhibits prostaglandin synthesis, reduces tenderness of joints, relieves pain, swelling and stiffness fast without G.I. side effects. A herbal NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) Rheuma-Aid is safe for prolonged use.

INDICATIONS :

Arthritis, rheumatism, gout, lumbar pains, morning stiffness, musculoskeletal pains, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain and sprains.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :

There are no contraindications. Seek professional advice during pregnancy.

DOSAGE :

1 or 2 capsules twice daily after meals with water.

DIETARY ADVICE :

Maintain a balanced diet, lose excess weight if you are overweight (obesity can worsen arthritis) and exercise three to four times a week. A good diet includes choices from each of five different groups of foods, which are breads and cereals, fruits and vegetables, fats and oils, poultry, oily fish, lean meats or dried beans, and low-fat milk, cheese and yoghurt. Foods high in cholesterol, fats and sugar should be avoided. Steer clear of takeaway foods and bakery delights. Salt, smoking and alcohol also should be avoided. Warm and hot baths promote the healing of inflammation. Swimming is also advised.
