INDICATIONS :
Acidity, allergies, amenorrhoea, anaemia, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, common cold, cough, fatigue, flu, gastric/duodenal ulcers, gastritis, depression, dermatitis, fever, heartburn, high LDL cholesterol levels, hoarseness, hypoglycemia, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), lack of appetite, laryngitis, liver dysfunction, peptic ulcers, persistent unfection due to low immunity, phlegm, sore throat, tuberculosis, ulcerative colitis, urinary tract pain and viral liver inflammation.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
Do not take Licorice if you have any disease that impedes the flow of bile from the liver. Avoid it also if you have abnormal muscle tension, poor kidney function, diabetes or low potassium levels in your blood. Not to be used during pregnancy.
SIDE EFFECTS :
Licorice can cause some side effects including absence of menstrual period in women, increased blood pressure, headache, water and sodium retention, decreased potassium in the blood, and decreased sexual function and libido in men. Do not take licorice if anaemic or pregnant.
DOSAGE :
Take 1 or 2 capsules twice daily before meals with water. Allow several weeks for benefits. The use of natural products provides progressive but long-lasting results.
