Description

Is acrid, alterative, anthelmintic, antiinflammatory; antiperiodic, aperient, astringent, bitter, carminative, digestive, diuretic, expectorant, febrifuge and stomachic. Useful in fever, cough and asthma. Treats wind and constipation and checks vomiting. Also useful in enlargement of liver and spleen.

Recommended Dosage: 1 to 2 g powder of dried aerial parts.

Contraindication: This herb is not recommended during pregnancy or lactation.
