Description
The root-bark is an antiseptic, a powerful astringent, diuretic, stomachic, styptic and tonic. It is useful in dysentery, diarrhoea, vomiting, haemoptysis, leucorrhoea and diuresis.
Externally, used for blackening the hair.
Recommended Dosage: 3 to 6 g powder.
Contraindication: This herb has no known warnings or contraindications.
