Description
The leaves and seeds are amoebicide, anthelmintic, antirheumatic, antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, diuretic, emmenagogue, laxative, purgative, tonic and vermifuge. They are rich in iron, calcium and vitamins B1 and C. They can, therefore, be used in cases of anaemia and vitamin C deficiency, and as laxative to cure constipation. Also useful in fever, hysteria, dysmenorrhoea, hepatic disorder and enlarged spleen. It also shows promise as a cancer fighter, a mental stimulant, and an antioxidant.
Recommended Dosage: Fresh Leaves : As per the persons digestion; Seeds : 5 to 7 g.
